The spirit of the Lord must touch you and your tomorrow must be better than your yesterday! But listen to this secret deliverance does not come because of anything until your heart has cried and said enough is enough! Don’t take the word of God lightly.
Whilst in South Korea the Lord spoke to me that 2015 shall be a year of the Lord’s favour. Don’t withhold or hesitate to do what God asks you to do in this New Year.
I will share with you more on the year of Favour in coming weeks.
Today I want to talk to you about Double Portion! You were in 2014 last year and now you have entered a new year!
It’s good but spiritually it’s not enough to just move from one year to another or just be like merry-go-round! No. Something has to change, something has to happen! This is another year, this is a different year, a double portion is what you need! Read on and discover how you can tap into the double portion of the Lord as Elisha did. Double portion is not just in spiritual things; it can result in double joy, double peace, double honour, double promotion and even double money which I heard one minister declare recently and I said amen for I have a lot on my heart that we need to do for the kingdom of God
In 2 Kings2:1-9 we see Elijah after being intimidated by Jezebel he was so afraid and God said anoint Elisha to take your place and also Jehu and Hazael. My story is from Elisha though.
The man that sought and got a double portion in his life.
It started at Gilgal which is the place of beginning. It is where manna ceased to fall from heaven and Israel began a new page. Elisha was told to go back at Gilgal by Elijah. But he refused to give up right at the beginning of his anointing.
This is January 1, why talk so negative and even give up yet the year is just beginning? Don’t finish where you started, No. 2015 is another year.
In Cape Town I told people there if you want to be rich begin to act like a rich man. Eat well and drink good juice even once in a while! It does something when you act. If you don’t act nothing happens. 2015 act my friend! O hallelujah I like it I like it!
Then they got to Bethel which is a place of dreams! Jacob alone in the bush encountered God at a place he called Bethel. He was so poor such that he had no pillow or jacket to sleep on but a stone! Dreaming is not enough though, you need to see! These are the days to see visions of God. I saw a man in Kigali! I really saw with my eyes years ago when I went to evangelise in Rwanda with my team.
We had arrived and knew no one in the place when the man came and spoke to us friendly. We didn’t know him. He moved around with us and all motels were full until we found a hotel where he booked us and ordered good food for us and we had not eaten properly.
He said don’t check out until I come back tomorrow morning. And before he left he said aah don’t worry the food and bill has already been taken care of. O glory to God and the following day he came back and took us to our contact person for preaching.
We began preaching and then during the afternoon the second day the man came when other people where not at the house. He checked on us and said are you well. Are you being treated well here. And we said yes. Friends this is the time to see these people; time to see God’s angels in your daily affairs as they come to assist you in your difficult times.
Now we had finished preaching and wanted to leave to come back to Zimbabwe. But we had no money to bring us back. The church we had planted was still new. An old lady came and said I have this little gift for the evangelist to buy food on the way back to his country.
When we opened it later it was money enough to fuel us and feed us all the way right up to Harare. Do you think it was an old lady? No. It was a messenger from heaven. 2015 is time for visitation! It is not a dreaming year but a year to see and experience.
Then they got to Jericho which is a place of past victory. It’s the place they won a battle by faith and with no physical weapons! It’s time to walk by faith and not by sight. Jericho is place of past history. But we don’t live in history; we are history in the making! I do not relax because I had visitations in past years no, I even want a fresh visitation today and now! Be a history maker and record breaker in your life and family! Don’t care about people when you want a miracle from the Lord!
Every curse must be broken. Money is not money when it is not blessed! You will have a lot of it but struggling! Elisha was prophesied by the sons of the prophets that his master was about to be taken but he said Ah no don’t worry; I know it already hold your peace!
Some of you; you don’t struggle to get jobs but struggle to keep one once you get it. You get it quickly and lose it quickly! That thing that causes you to lose jobs must be broken.

Finally, they came to Jordan. Jordan is a place of miracles. It’s the place Elijah parted the waters and walked on dry ground! Desire the miraculous and to live in signs and wonders! Jordan is not a small river but it separated and gave way. He said O this same jacket which once hit me is the same one working miracles?
After crossing he then said, Young man ask what you desire! Before finishing reading this article receive what you desire! Whatsoever things you desire you shall have them. Whatsoever means whatsoever. If it were someone they could have said I need your farm or something tangible but Elisha said, No I need the thing that causes you to be who you are! I need just your spirit folded! Friends that thing is called the double portion. Receive it for 2015 in Jesus name.
